About Me

My name is Heather - wife to Nelson and mama to Sofia and Gabriella. I spent the last 15 years climbing the corporate ladder in the entertainment industry. I had a nice six-figure job at a movie studio, which was very fun at times and had a lot of prestige, but after having my girls and moving to the suburbs, my days became long and stressful. I would see my family for an hour in the morning and an hour at night and most of that was getting them ready for school and bedtime. I reached the point where I realized in order to climb the ladder further it would require taking on even more, and mean even less time with my family. That was not an option for me. So I started to build a business on the side, which I didn't have much time to focus on so it grew slowly. In 2013, I had the opportunity to accept a package and leave my job to focus full time on my business and say good bye to the 3 hour daily commute and long hours. I'm here to share my experiences with you so you can start making your exit strategy from corporate America and design your own life just as you want it!
