Why did you sign up with this company initially? At the beginning of this year our family was hit hard with sickness. Someone in my family was ill every week for about 8 weeks straight. A friend of mine had shared with me that her and her family of 7 had not been to a doctor in over 4 years for illness since using doTERRA's essential oils. I was intrigued, and ordered doTERRA's family physician kit which is meant to replace all of the over-the-counter medicines in my medicine cabinet with certified, pure, therapeutic grade essential oils. I started using these oils immediately for colds, cuts, burns, ear infections, food poisoning- you name it! They worked better, faster, and were much more affordable than co-pays and prescriptions. Since using the oils our family has not had another full blown illness, and I felt that this information and my testimony of natural medicine needed to be shared.

What is the best part of owning your own business? There are many businesses in the network marketing realm you can run from home. I think the best part is finding one that you LOVE. Not like, or just want to make money at, but actually LOVE. I have always been drawn to holistic healing and alternative medicine. I love helping people to get well and feel better safely, naturally, and effectively. I have been sharing about natural healing and health and nutrition for years, so this business just fits perfectly.

How do you make time to work on your business? I plan out my week every Sunday night. I have 4 kids, who I home school, and husband who works long hours 5-6 days per week. That being said, I block out time to work on my business every week. Some days, it is only for 30 minutes or an hour, but I block out time each day. I work around my family's needs and make sure my priorities are being met first, that way I can work my business with confidence and peace of mind. And because it is something I love, I don't mind working my business after the kids are in bed or during other "free" times.

Do you work your business full time or have any plans to? I don't see myself working this business full-time for quite awhile, but I would like to work more hours per week as my family's needs change in the future.

How do you find prospective customers & distributors for your team? I talk to friends and family over social media, I hold educational classes about essential oils and their uses in my home and in other people's homes, and I sit down with people one-on-one to explain how doTERRA can enhance their life. Most people are overworked, underfed (nutritionally speaking), sleep-deprived, and stressed out! We live in a "go, go go" culture, so these products are very appealing. People are looking for ways to create balance in their bodies, to help their bodies heal themselves from acute and chronic ailments, and to just feel and look better! doTERRA covers the scope from nutritional supplements and the purest essential oils on the market to an amazing, toxic-free skincare line to even green cleaning products. I can't not tell people about doTERRA because I really feel like many people are searching for something like this and just don't know where to find it.
